Haulotte Big Booms have become the first choice of several logistics & handling port authorities such as Dubai Port Authority (DPA). Haulotte Group & its UAE dealer United Gulf Equipment Rentals have been registered as approved supplier since 2013 by DP WORLD UAE. Various units of Haulotte Articulated HA18PX & HA260PX  and Telescopic 28 meters were purchased to operate in the container handling terminal in Jebel Ali Free Zone, JAFZA, which has been voted “Best Seaport in the Middle East” for 21 consecutive years and is ranked the 9th largest container port worldwide.

In Turkey, a large number of the model HA260PX has been used for the installation of 18 units of RTG cranes in DP World Yarimca Port. The new terminal is one of the biggest container terminals in Turkey with 1.3M TEU capacity and is located in Körfez district of Kocaeli province in Northern Turkey.

In Egypt, Damietta Port Authority has selected the Haulotte 41m articulated boom lift. Damietta is considered one of the oldest ports in Egypt & the HA41 is their first investment in AWPs. The machine is used for the maintenance & handling operations of the port. It has a maximum outreach of 19.80m and the best lifting speed in the market with less than 40 seconds. Its ergonomic and spacious designed platform provides the best safety feeling at height for the operator in addition to simultaneous controls for more accuracy and smoothness of movements.

Oman Dry Docks is another long time user of Haulotte Big Booms.  Oman Dry Docks is one of the biggest and most modern ship repair yards in the Middle East and owns around 15 units Haulotte 41m articulated boom. They are in use in all the applications of the shipyard: shipbuilding & marine engineering, sandblasting, ship painting & repairing in addition to conversion of various vessels.
